Wow. I feel really terrible that you posted this four days ago and neither of us have posted in so long that I didn't even notice because I hadn't been checking! Shame on me! Anyway, is that in LA and if I visit you can I stay there? Or is it in Solvang? I went to Solvang once but it was before Vikings were a thing. Now I strongly desire to return and buy random Viking memorabilia. Hmm. Maybe I will visit someday after all, now that there is the combined draw of Vikings and your cat. Oh, and I guess you and Megan.
I got a great keychain in Solvang when I was twelve. I have no other memory of it, with the exception of being confused as to why California was trying to imitate Scandinavia because it seemed to me that two places could not be more different.
AWESOME. I especially like the asian guard-dog statues, and the mixed origin typefaces to complete the authenticity. Are there more viking structures in ye ole Solvang, or is this the sole one?!
There are only two possible messages. The first is an automatic response to the second and the second is an automatic response to the first. The first is, "Here I am, here I am, here I am." The second is, "So glad you are, so glad you are, so glad you are." (Kurt Vonnegut, The Sirens of Titan)
