Prince Edward Island in Good Weather and Bad . . . Very, Very Bad

Along the Confederation Trail. Please note the astonishingly red sand.

Also along the Confederation Trail. There's nothing like a PEI sand dune.

We drove into this storm cloud for half an hour not knowing that when Michael said, "Are you sure you want to go out in that?" what he meant was, "It was nice knowing you."

I did get to take some dramatic rain pictures through the car window when we pulled off the road, but immediately afterwards we were swept into the Gulf of St. Lawrence and tragically drowned.

Well, I don't think the torrential downpour of doom had started yet when I took that picture. To convey the level of your terror, I should have told the story of how when we got to dinner you ordered a pint of beer and said, "I didn't want to say anything but I thought we were going to die." I'm not sure I ever thanked you for waiting til it was over to say that. Really, thank you.
