Today is my last day of work. Tonight is final dinner with my friends. Small brother arrives in four hours. Backpacking will begin in two days. Goodbye LA. I'll miss you... just a little bit.

It has been great to read about your adventures in LA. I hope we get equally entertaining ones when you are settled in your new home. I'm sure there will be some tales to tell about the whole experience of getting from one to the other.
Ah, the open road! Excitement! Adventure! Hours upon hours of NPR! Have a marvelous trip!
Also maybe pack a lot of antihistimines for Small Brother?
