I now notice that most of the pictures I took when I went to the Lilac Festival were not actually of lilacs. These are from Robinson Drive, which, according to a little plaque at the corner of Robinson and Mt. Hope, was specially designed by Charles Mulford Robinson, "pioneer city planner." Well done, Robinson. This street is instant happiness.
