Compost and Crack

Yes my friends, that's a piece of Crack Pie from the Momofuku Milk Bar. I would write more about it, but with just one slice I think I ate an entire stick of butter and all the dairy fat is making me sluggish. Luckily I picked up a Compost Cookie to serve as a dessert to my dessert. It's gonna be a good night.

Fritos and cookies: two of my favorite things.

I have decided that if Momofuku Milk Bar was in Minneapolis this paper would be done. As in SHREDDED. Cause the sugar from there would have caused me to write the paper in one night. It woulda been awesome. I am super jealous. I expect to hear more once the sugar/fat high wears off. Unless Yellow yellow smells it coming off you and attacks. But my guess is she'd just ask for directions. She's that kind of classy.

Simon: I don't buy that you'd eat those cookies. I think that you'd find fritos in cookies suspect and jest, but I doubt that you really RESPECT the cookie. Mmm. I respect the cookie. Or would if I had any. Cookies, not respect, I have that. I bought a cookie and shake at Potbelly tonight to tide me over to my 9pm dinner of a cheddarwurst. Normal meals resume a week from tomorrow.

Katie P-- Simon used to eat (you're never going to believe this) CHIPS ON HER SANDWICHES. like, INSIDE of them. I can't remember what kind of sandwich, but I can tell you Simon used to be a very creative eater. I have high hopes that she'll come around to our bacon movement.

PS. This is good training for the MN state fair. Must build resistance to the dairy/fat sluggishness.

IVAN - WHAT? Seriously? Simon? I am SHOCKED! Shocked I tell you! There is hope yet.

In other bacony news. I have a friend who defended her thesis yesterday. The celebration involved a bacon explosion. Then they sliced it, dipped it in beer batter and deep fried it. Then they made a maple syrup topping for it. It was apparently juicily delicious. There was also supposed to be bacon bourbon at the event.
