Italian word for the "at" symbol: chiocciola. Bonus meaning: snail. It really does look like a snail...I learned this word by watching many hours of an Italian children's show called "L'albero Azzurro" where a talking Dodo implores me to write him a letter. 'Tis strange the ways we absorb language.
